My workflow is that I put all the games I own but haven’t played yet in backlog, and all the games I want to play but don’t own yet in wishlist.
Then I go through my backlog or wishlist to decide what to play next, and once I do, I set a status on the game, Playing, and eventually (hopefully) Beaten or Completed, or if I’m putting it aside but intend to come back to it Shelved, or if I just didn’t enjoy it enough Abandoned.
In all these cases, I don’t want the game in the backlog or wishlist anymore, since I’ve started playing them, they’re not a backlogged or wishlisted game anymore.
It would be nice therefore if setting a status on a game would remove it automatically from either the wishlist or the backlog it was in.
