GGApp is a wonderful application. I’d love to see a public/tokenized API for seeing and updating profiles, people could write bots and scripts that automatically track progress of games or create native apps.

Maybe API access could be put into the ggapp elite subscription as another incentive (similarly how MyAnimeList did it back then).

What do you mean by native apps?

For platforms such as AniList, there are no “official native apps” on Windows, Android or iOS but instead solutions using their API (for example oujo on Android or “Taiga” for Windows). I know there is the PWA-ish approach on Android, but I could also see potential for tools that could sync your library with your steam/epic/whatever library.

There are official native mobile apps already, and syncing with steam/epic/etc is already planned here on the roadmap :)

I am considering having an API down the road, but it’s a TON of work for one person haha.

API would be nice for discord bots etc

+1 for API (via oauth authentication). Would be nice to integrate into something like https://zurdi15.github.io/romm/ or any application for external scrobbling/syncing.
